Meat hammer questions

What is the difference between the textured and smooth hammer faces?

How should I clean the meat hammer?

Rinse or hand wash it promptly after contact with raw meat, then dry it completely before storage.

What is the hammer made from?

It uses 304-grade stainless steel with an all-metal dual-head construction.

What can I use it for?

Use it for steaks, chicken breasts, pork chops, shellfish, spices, and nuts.

For a complete grilling-prep setup, pair it with the Lightyear instant-read meat thermometer and dishwasher-safe silicone basting brush set.

Right size. Right weight. Feel solid. Excellent grip

Well built, well design. It is constructed from what look like a high quality stanless steel. It has just the right size and weight, heavy enough to make an impact but not too heavy for a senior like me. The handle is well design, - ergonomic, non-slip and absorb the impact from hammer head well. I only try in on beef and can feel the beef more tender that without hammer. Easy to clean.

The Lightyear meat softener is a practical and resistant tool, ideal for those looking to prepare softer and juicier meats at home. Its double-sided design allows you to hit and break the meat fibers evenly, improving the texture and helping the seasonings to absorb better. It is made of durable materials and has a head with multiple raised teeth (49 in total), which makes it easy to soften different types of meat such as beef, chicken or pork without much effort. The handle is comfortable and offers a good grip, which makes it safe and easy to use even for beginners.

Good quality meat tenderizer

This is a heavy duty meat tenderizer. I used it to pound my meat before I ground the beef by hand and it does the job really well.
